I have volunteered in numerous areas with children for 42 years:
special olympics, camps, church activities, 14 yrs. a Camp Fire Leader.
I published a book written by my dogs {one of them passed on Dec. 8th 2 days after my birthday, he was 14 &1/2 yrs. old}.
I sew and make all kinds of costumes for our grandchildren and enjoy crafting.
At Christmas we put a tree in every room of the house{some are small}so needless to say I have a desire to decorate.
I dearly love going to estate sales and re-sale shops and finding bargains.
We {my husband and I} have spent many wonderful hours babysitting our 12 grandchildren {4 are in college now}.
We went to Israel in 1998, wanted to stay at the sites for a longer period of time than the guide would allow, but we had to leave. It snowed while we were there.
My greatest passion now is dressing up as characters in history and giving talks to elementary students.
Ahhh!!!, I almost forgot the furriest loves of my life , I dog sit.
Kids and dogs are what I get along with the best.

I know that Jane Stuart will probable deny this but I spent the night at her house one time and we rode our bikes up to Methodist at midnight, we were looking for the morgue {never found it!}

Mrs. Banker, speech, was very encouraging.
Mrs. Venable, spanish, so pleasant and kind.
Mrs. Oma Ford, P.E. who let me come to her classes to hand out baskets in the dressing area because I could not be quiet in study hall. Imagine that!

This is awful to confess but I have only seen one or two in the last several years.
Mary Ann Cariotis' Greek Cafe was just round the corner from our home in Duncanville and we ate there frequently but when she moved to Oak Cliff we did not go any more. I was so sorry to hear about her death.
I saw Nelda Jones once.

I donated the Brownie camera and the 2 pictures I took the day after Kennedy was assasinated to the 6th Floor Museum. The curator also interviewed me concerning where I was and how it effected me. You can access the video on line. My mom had to work a night job and did not want me to be alone so I spent the night at Betty Augustatos' house and that her family had the biggest bowl of Alaskan King Crab I have ever seen and we snacked on it like you would a dip.

Kept up with my former classmates. SO SORRY!!!
