Rhonda) Diane Grossman, age 72, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, September 29, 2019 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 7, 2019 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, Texas. Burial will follow at Closner Cemetery near West. The family will receive visitors Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Diane was born Rhonda Diane Farmer on July 12, 1947 in Dallas, the daughter of Ida Irene and Val (Valentine) Farmer. She graduated from Sunset High School in Oak Cliff, Texas in 1965. Diane attended the University of Texas in Dallas. She worked hard on her degree while raising two children. Following attainment of her Bachelor’s Degree in 1990, she worked a job in medical marketing. She retired in 2012 and moved to Cedar Park to be near her family.

Diane had a vibrant spirit and a gift for the arts, dabbling in poetry, drawing, and singing. She had a big heart and loved her family deeply. She loved God and was a faithful member of the Hill Country Bible Church. Diane also loved her friends and was involved in a variety of activities and groups within her community. She was a part of singles groups and 42 circles, which she participated in with the same enthusiasm with which she lived life.

She was preceded in death by Gordon Grossman, her mother, her father, two sisters, and her brother.

Diane is survived by her son, Dr. Major (Retired) Gregory Grossman and wife, Catherine of Williamsburg, Virginia; her daughter, Ginger Whitaker of Cedar Park, Texas; six grandchildren, Gregory Stauder and wife Sammie, Geoffrey Grossman, Gillian Grossman, Tara Whitaker, Travis Whitaker and Tessa Whitaker; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Turbeville; and many other relatives and friends.
