So sad to hear of Frances' passing.  I used to see her sometimes around Richardson (she worked at a boutique where I shopped occasionally).  She was always so much fun.  RIP, Frances.

I never thought I'd be around to write this. Frances had such boundless energy. I mean who else could run the Boston Marathon? Every memory I have of Rosemont, Greiner, and Sunset includes her. Trying not to laugh at inappropriate times was almost impossible if she was there beside me and she always was. She loved the reunions and I don't think she missed any. I felt a part of the Looney family since I was over there so much and I think she felt the same way about mine. Frances, I love you dearly and I will see you someday. We'll take up where we left off, ok?

I join Jan, Kathleen and all our Rosemont tribe in a sad goodbye to Frances. She lived across the back alley from Pete, adding a spark of fun to a wonderful playground.

I got to know the Looney family in 1952 when we moved to Greenbriar Lane. They lived on Sam Dealy at Turner. That was about 100 yards down our alley.. We all went to Rosemont, Greiner and Sunset. After graduating I only got to spend time with her at our reunions. The last one was in Oct.2022 at Rocco's restaurant and it was so good to see her. She was vibrant and so full of goodness and life. I had Doug take photos of Kathleen, Frances with me in the middle. What a great memory. I have no words that would be adaquate to communicate my feelings of her passing. Suffice to say...I will see you, Anna Marie and many other good friends when the time is right. For now "Good by my very good friend"

Frances and I were in all the schools for sure, but I will never forget seeing her at the first Reunion.  Frances took to "adulthood" better than most any of us.  It was like she could finally be show her beautiful, smiling, outgoing blond vibrant self.  She looked so good last October, hope she didn't suffer at all.
