Miss Smith was one of the best English teachers I ever had. She also taught my mother at Sunset back in the 40's. Mom feels the same way. Wonder how old she would be now.
Eula Pearl Smith was the best teacher at Sunset. I loved her class. I wrote an essay about her in my freshman year at UT and received an A for the work, but didn't feel that I put much effort into it as it was simply written from the heart. I wonder if she knows somewhere, somehow, how many of us she profoundly influenced in her soft, simple way.
