I went to school with Betsy from elementary school, Anson Jones, junior high, LV Stockard, to high school, Sunset. We hung around with each other. Visited each other's homes, rode the bus to the State Fair several years together. I lost track with Betsy after her marriage to Joe Hanna. I will remember our good times together. Sorry to hear of her passing. RIP my friend.
I just went on the website to see that Betsy Freeman passed away last year. Betsy went to my church and I remember her as a sweet girl. My mother was her Sunday School teacher and I remember when her father passed away that a number of girls went to visit her. That was my first experience with someone I knew loosing a parent.
There are no details as to what happened to Betsy but I am sure she is happy in Heaven. My condolences, although quite late, to her close friends and family.
